Direct investment in Ukraine’s Black Sea region exceeded $3.5 billion

Sevastopol Department of Statistics has reported that, as of 01/10/2012, direct foreign investment (equity) in the economy of Ukraine’s Black Sea economic region has totalled 3,555.9 million USD.

Most financial flows have been directed to Odessa oblast enterprises: 43.4% of the total investments in the Black Sea economic region, investments in the AR Crimea have reached 38.1%. Investments in Kherson oblast have comprised 7.4%, Mykolaiv region - 6.3%, Sevastopol - 4.8%.
