The USA and Canada continue to violate visa reciprocity principle
The EC has adopted its 7th report about breaches of the principle of visa reciprocity in third countries.
The report shows to what degree EU non-members fulfill their engagements on the offering of non-visa travels to European citizens. Non-visa traveling has been achieved over the past year towards more countries – for instance Brazil. Unfortunately, the report reads, there are still two major breaches of the principle: the USA requires visas for citizens of Bulgaria, Cyprus, Romania and Poland, while Canada does the same with Czechs, Bulgarians and Romanians.
