International forum in Sofia discusses industry and innovation investments

Bulgarian Minister of Economy Delian Dobrev announced at an international form on industry and innovations held in Sofia, that foreign investments in this country in 2012 amount to EUR 1.5-2 billion.

In his words, there is no restriction for investments in the sphere of innovations and industry. These are sustainable investments guaranteeing economic development and high economic growth. Minister Dobrev is of the opinion that the major challenge before the High Technologies sector is to find more and better trained young people. His expectations are that the budget of the Competitiveness Operational Programme for the next programme period should retain the same level.
