Turkey to launch second intelligence satellite
Turkey will send the second intelligence satellite Göktürk-2 into space at the Jiuquan launch site at 6.13 pm.
The first intelligence satellite of Turkey called RASAT was launched in 2011. The new model has triple resolution size, totaling 2.5 meters.
Construction of national satellites is part of the program to encourage national military production. Turkish self-sufficiency in the sphere totals 50%.
