Hotel costs in Sochi during the Olympics period to be regulated by the Government

Russia introduces government regulation of hotel costs in Sochi during the Olympics period.

The Russian Federation Government has issued a resolution, fixing the maximum costs of hotel services depending upon hotel and room categories during the period of Sochi XXII Olympic Games and XI Paralympics in 2014.

The resolution will allow the prevention of ungrounded overpricing for hotel services during the Olympics 2014 period.

The Government recommends the Krasnodar Krai Administration, along with the Sochi City Administration, to ensure timely provision of information to hotel owners on the government regulation of hotel service costs.
