Every third tourist in the Crimea preferred to have a vacation in Yalta this year

The largest numbers of tourists in the Crimea in 2012 have visited Yalta, Yevpatoria, and Alushta.

According to the Crimean Resort and Information Center, Yalta leads in the number of vacationers based on the results of the holiday season — 2.1 million tourists. The second place is occupied by Yevpatoria – 1.1 million tourists, while Alushta is the third – a little more than 1 million tourists.

More than 6 million tourists have visited the Crimea from the beginning of the year, and the six-millionth of them was registered at the end of October.

During the holiday season of 2011 the peninsula hosted 5.4 million people, which number is approximately the same as in 2010.
