Restrictions on gambling are planned to be introduced in Moldova
A group of deputies from Moldova’s Liberal Party has put forward legislative initiative proposing to withdraw gambling establishments beyond the boundaries of major cities, including casinos and slot machine halls, as well as to change their working hours.
This was reported by one of the authors of the initiative depute Gheorghe Brega.
The draft law introduces a ban on placement of slot machines at railway and bus stations, cinemas, large shops and other public places.
The proposed bill also provides for changes in the working hours of gambling places: they should not operate round the clock, but only from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
