Georgia's national debt continues to grow

The national debt of Georgia continues to grow. According to the Ministry of Finance, since the beginning of 2012 and as of November 30, the debt of Georgia has increased by $ 176.1 million, reaching a figure of $ 4,376,692,000. $ 3,954,005,000 is the debt of the Georgian government.

The main creditors of the country are international institutions. Georgia has received a loan from the World Bank ($ 1,294,412,000), the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development ($ 349,657,000), the International Monetary Fund ($ 395,827,000), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ($ 97,715,000), the International Fund for Agricultural Development ($ 24.424 million), the Asian Development Bank ($ 402,556,000) and the European Investment Bank ($ 106,556,000).
