Legislative framework for port industry reformation is under development in Ukraine

The Ministry of Infrastructure continues its work on the development of the legislative framework, required for implementation of reforms at the Ukrainian port industry, port.odessa reports.

A part of the meeting of public officials from the State Policy Department for Sea and River Transport at the Ministry of Infrastructure with experts from the Ukrainian Federation of Transport Employers has been devoted to thorough discussion on the texts for a number of draft documents, directly related to the implementation of reforms. Such list of documents has also included a draft resolution of the Government «On establishment of the State Enterprise «Administration of Ukrainian Sea Ports» and other drafts.

Members of the meeting have also discussed a number of major key provisions to be included into the legislative documents, which will be subsequently developed by the Ministry in accordance with the approved Plan for organization of development of draft documents, required to implement the Law of Ukraine «On the Sea Ports of Ukraine».
