Cost of electricity in Romania will grow by 10%

Starting with January 1, 2013, the cost of electricity for residential customers in Romania will be raised by 10%, Ukrinform reports.

This has been announced by the director of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE), Mr. Nicolae Havrilet.

ANRE head noted that the price of electricity for residential customers will include the cost of renewable energy production.

Currently, Romanian consumers pay about 10 Euros for 100 kW of power.
