Value of Christmas trees confiscated in Romania exceeded 240 thousand euro
For the last couple of days employees of the Forestry Protection Service at the Romanian Police General Inspectorate (IGPR), working together with officers of country police departments, confiscated 11.7 thousand illegally cut Christmas trees worth a total of more than 240 thousand euro.
According to Ukrinform, countries of Vrancea, Covasna, Neamt, Maramures, and Harghita are among the leaders in the illegal cutting of the trees.
