Blagoevgrad is partner within international tourist development project

The Blagoevgrad Municipality in South Bulgaria was approved as a partner within an international project for the development of integrated tourist plans, funded by the South East Europe transnational cooperation OP.

Municipalities and institutions from Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia also participate in the project. It aims at the implementation of an integrated approach, regarding the planning and development of tourism for the entire region of South East Europe, trying to popularize not only the major tourist destinations, but also the nearby areas.
