Leaders of Romania’s Statistical Agency dismissed for doctoring records of the country’s economic parameters

Prime Minister Victor Ponta took this decision, when it became known that for unknown reasons the country’s GDP was added by EUR 4.5 billion, Moldnews informs.

Because of the additions to the GDP indicators, in 2013 the government will have to reduce the budget’s expenditures by almost a billion lei.
