In 2012 the Adjarian business climate was interesting mostly for Turkish businessmen

Such information has been announced by the Secretary General of the International Investors Association Osman Chalishkan. According to him, the largest share of investment concerned textiles and construction.

According to Mr. Chalishkan, at present the country has established quite favorable conditions for business development, low tariffs, a liberal trade regime, simplified procedures, and solid macro-economic environment and also has a strategically propitious geographical location.
