Wine consumption in Bulgaria on the rise
In 2012, the Bulgarian people have consumed 90 million liters of wine, which is 17.4% more than 2011. Last year over 50 million liters of this beverage were exported, which stands for an increase of 7.4% year on year, the Bulgarian Wine Export Association announced.
The major obstacle for the Bulgarian wine-producers who want to export their production is the insufficient advertising of the Bulgarian wines abroad. The association aims at the promoting of the local wines on one of the most attractive international markets: the USA, India and China.
