Romanian president to visit Moldova soon
Romanian President Traian Basescu will pay one-day official visit to the Republic of Moldova on February 1, the Moldovan presidential office has reported.
While in Chisinau, Basescu will hold meetings with his Moldovan colleague Nicolae Timofti, with Prime Minister Vladimir Filat and with Speaker of Parliament Marian Lupu. Basescu received an invitation to visit Moldova yet in May 2012, when Moldovan President Nicolae Timofti was paying a visit to the neighbor country. Traian Basescu was in Moldova last in 2010.
