Odesa airport served more than 900 thousand passengers in 2012

The Odesa International Airport has served 907.6 thousand passengers in 2012, acccording to the report of Context-Prichernomorie Agency correspondent, based on information provided by the airport press service on January 14, 2013.

According to this information, the most popular destinations among the Odesa citizens are traditionally Kyiv, Moscow and Istanbul.

The last year was a leader in the number of flights from Odesa to the CIS countries: partner airlines have served 217.4 thousand people, which is 49.5% more than previous year.

The major number of this segment was the flights to Moscow. In the summer the number of carriers on this route has increased from two to five ― together they served 158.1 thousand people.

The number of domestic flights increased by 12.2% is 183.3 thousand passengers.

The total amount of flights composed 14 thousand 412, of which 4 thousand 199 - within Ukraine and 10 thousand 213 - International flights.

1 thousand 289 tons of cargo and mail has been processed over the last year.
