Assets of Azerbaijani International Bank increase
Assets of the International Bank of Azerbaijan grew by 17.5% to $7.5 billion on January 1, 2013, compared with 2012, 1news.az reports.
The credit portfolio grew by 22.2% to $4.9 billion. Individuals received $556 million of credits.
The bank’s overall capital totaled $918 million, exceeding the volume on January 1, 2012 by 40.4%. Its charter capital increased by 37.8% to $422 million.
The ROA quotient of the bank totaled 0.83% in late 2012 (0.51% on January 1, 2012), ROE quotient totaled 9.21% (3.52%).
The international bank has been operating since January 1992. The Azerbaijani government is its main shareholder, owning 50.2% of its shares.
