In 2013 Armenia to assume presidency of the Council of Europe and the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC)
Armenia will assume presidency of the Council of Europe starting from May, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said, news.am reports.
“It is a praiseworthy and responsible mission. We are working on priorities and relevant program which will be presented in April,” he said, adding the Secretary General of the Council of Europe will visit Armenia.
In 2013 Armenia will assume chairmanship in the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).
This year Armenia will hold meetings of the foreign ministers of Eastern Partnership member states as well as high ranking EU representatives. Numerous visits and participation of Armenia’s representatives in the international forums and conferences are planned.
