Foreign Minister Nickolay Mladenov to make one-day USA visit

Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nickolay Mladenov is going to make a one-day visit to USA. He will arrive in Washington DC from Chile where he took part in the EU-Latin America conference.

In the US capital city Mladenov will meet for talks with the US Deputy Secretary of State William Burns and with the Deputy National Security Advisor Anthony Blinken. Central to the talks will be the situation in Syria. At the end of February Bulgaria is to play host to the sixth meeting of the International Working Group on Sanctions against Syria.
