USA to revise visa requirements for Bulgarians
Being an EU member state, Bulgaria hopes that the visa regime of the USA towards all European countries will be unified, said in Washington DC the Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nikolay Mladenov upon meeting the US Deputy Secretary of State William Burns.
Burns assured his guest that the visa requirements of the USA for Bulgarian citizens will be revised again, where the number of refused visas for Bulgarians will be taken into account. Issues from the military and political cooperation fields between Bulgaria and the USA as well as the forthcoming sixth meeting of the International Working Group on Sanctions against Syria, which will be held in Sofia, were also discussed on the summit.
Minister Mladenov also met with the Deputy National Security Advisor Anthony Blinken and later departed for Kuwait.
