Russia and Armenia to develop strategic partnership
Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu said after a meeting with his Armenian counterpart Seyran Oganyan in Yerevan that Russia and Armenia had agreed to develop strategic partnership in military affairs.
The two ministers had met twice last year.
Shoygu and Oganyan discussed regional and international security, CSTO membership of Armenia and additional elements of security in the region.
Shoygu added that the program for practical cooperation for the following 5 years will be developed in February.
