Perspectives of the sea port development in 2013 discussed in the Crimea
Participants of the meeting of the Crimean Republican Transport and Communications Committee with managers of the Crimean commercial sea ports have summed up operational results of the industry in 2012 and discussed the perspectives of port development in 2013.
Specific attention has been paid to preparation of sea ports for operation during the resort season and development of the cruise navigation.
Yalta Commercial Sea Port has concluded agreements for reception of 98 cruise ships. In 2013 Feodosiya Commercial Sea Port expects calls of two cruise liners, and another two cruise ships will call Kerch Commercial Sea Port.
Meeting participants have also discussed issued, related to cargo handling. Crimean ports carry out continuous search for agreements on cargo reception and handling. Feodosiya and Kerch ports have already ensured cargo handling orders for the next 6 months.
Yevpatoriya Commercial Sea Port has already implemented a project on simultaneous reception of two cargo ferry boats.
