Feodosiya will host International forum of the Black Sea region scientists

Feodosiya will host International forum of the Black Sea region scientists on April 19th, 2013. The topic of the forum is «Preservation of the underwater cultural heritage.»

The following themes are to be discussed: plans for the study of the Black Sea, the solemn opening of the first underwater archaeological museum in the Black Sea (the «Lenin» ship and the antique city of Acre), opening of the Museum of underwater archeology and laboratory for conservation and restoration of the underwater artifacts in Feodosiya, commissioning of the flagship research vessel «Clotho», etc.

Among the forum participants – The Republican Committee of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea on Cultural Heritage Protection, Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, research institutes of Ukraine and the United States, representatives of UNESCO.
