Bulgaria's exports for non-EU countries up in 2012

In 2012 Bulgaria’s export for countries outside the EU has increased by 12.8 percent on 2011, reaching the cost of EUR 8.6 billion.

Major trade partners are Turkey, China, Russia, Serbia, Macedonia and the USA forming 50 percent of Bulgaria’s exports for third countries. In 2012 the goods imported in Bulgaria from markets outside the EU are to the cost of EUR 25.5 billion, which is 8.8 percent more than in 2011. In December 2012 overall import has gone down by 1.9 percent compared to December 2011, being to the cost of EUR 1.94 billion.
