Turkish trade mission interested in investment projects in Kuban
On February 13, Kuban’s Vice Governor Mr. Nikolai Buturlakin met with the head of the Krasnodar branch of the Trade Mission of the Republic of Turkey Embassy in Russia Mr. Shamil Adzhartyurk.
According to Live Kuban, at the meeting the parties discussed opportunities to implement new investment projects in the region, as well as further ways of cooperation between the Krasnodar Krai administration and the Trade Mission branch. In recent years, Turkey has become one of the region’s leading trading partners. Turnover for the first three quarters of 2012 reached $2.5 billion, representing 27% of the Krai’s total turnover. Several large projects with Turkish capital participation are being implemented in the Kuban. In recent years, joint ventures in construction, agriculture, trade, tourism, woodworking and glass industry have been created.
