Romanian Netzer's «Child's Pose» wins Golden Bear for the best film

«Child's Pose,» a Romanian film about the drama of nouveaux riches, directed by Calin Peter Netzer, on February 16 evening was awarded the Golden Bear for the best film prize at the Berlinale 2013 film festival, to the applause of the attendees at the award ceremony.

«I want to thank the Berlinale for having invited me to showcase my film here,» said Netzer after receiving the prize alongside film producer Ada Solomon. Netzer thanked his team, his producer and the cast.

A well-received film by critics and the public alike, «Child's Pose» had already won on February 15 the FIPRESCI International Federation of Film Critics prize at the 63rd edition of the Berlin International Film Festival.
