Russia wants to develop relations with Georgia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said on February 25, 2013 that Russia was ready to restore diplomatic relations with Georgia and continue economic, cultural and humanitarian development with Abkhazia and South Ossetia as independent states, RIA Novosti reports.
Lavrov emphasized that Russians had never felt cold towards Georgia. Both nations had common interest in each other’s culture and humanitarian cooperation. He reminded that it was Saakashvili who had broken diplomatic relations with Russia.
