Second line of the alternate Resort Avenue in Sochi to be opened soon

Federal road workers are currently preparing for launch of the traffic at the segment from the beginning of the Sochi roundabout way to “Razdolnoye” interchange.

Opening of the new highway segment will enable the relief of the entrance and exit to the central part of Sochi from the side of Adler. Asphalt laying and installation of acoustic screens have been already completed at this segment, while installation of lighting systems and communication devices will be finished soon.

By the end of 2013 the alternate Resort Avenue will go through the mountains, maneuvering between the residential communities. The system of the state-o-the-art tunnels and bridge structures with the total length of more than 16 km will improve traffic conditions in the central part of Sochi.
