Video cameras for observation of birds to be installed in Macin Mountains

Romanian Government intends to purchase mobile laboratories, which will monitor various species of flora and fauna in Macin Mountains. In addition to that, some of the birds’ nests will be monitored online.

“We are going to arrange supervision over nine species of flora and fauna, which are of interest for Europe, and we will purchase a mobile laboratory to do that”, – Project Manager Vasily Badilas has informed. Besides, the laboratory will allow park administration’s checking of influence of various factors upon the environment and biological species.

The investment will be carried out in the framework of the project “Ensuring of the favorable environment protection status for species and habitats in the Macin Mountains National Park”, financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
