Russia-EU visa-free regime to bring more Russian tourists to Bulgaria
Russian Ambassador to Bulgaria Yirii Isakov is convinced that a cardinal breakthrough in bilateral economic relations is likely to occur once a visa-free regime is introduced between Russia and the European Union. This would bring more Russian tourists to Bulgaria, Isakov said in an interview for Focus Agency.
Russia watches closely the business and investment climate in Bulgaria, and responds positively to measures activated to improve it. Changes in this direction represent a major impulse in attracting new Russian investments, the Russian ambassador said. Isakov added that the huge Russian market was open to the produce of the Bulgarian small and medium-sized enterprises. In Russia, he said, there are still good memories of some high-quality Bulgarian products.
