Georgian President assures he won't dismiss the government
President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili, after a meeting with Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili on March 4, said he did not intend to dismiss the government.
«Any speculation that I could use the right to dissolve the government or parliament are wrong. This government was chosen by the people of Georgia, and too little time has passed for me or the people to adequately evaluate its activities,» Saakashvili is quoted by «News-Georgia».
However, he called his meeting with Ivanishvili «as always interesting,» noting that such discussions should continue in the future.
