Bulgarian Parliament cancels Burgas-Alexandroupolis project
The Bulgarian National Assembly has adopted in the second reading a bill canceling the agreement with Greece and Russia for the construction of an oil-pipeline between the Bulgarian port in Burgas and the Greek port in Alexandroupolis, thus putting an end of the Bulgarian participation in this project.
The decision followed a government’s proposal, according to which this project is not advantageous for Bulgaria in financial and economic aspect.
