Simferopol Airport to simplify customs control

Simferopol International Airport intends to introduce a simplified system of customs control for personal luggage of passengers.

According to the First Deputy Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Crimea Nicolay Marinov, in the process of the meeting with the administration staff of the Crimean customs and the Ministry, the First Deputy Head of the Crimean Council of Ministers Pavel Burlakov has given a commission to simplify the luggage control procedure for passengers arriving to the Crimea.

“In the past all luggage went through the scanner. Now we have set a task to arrange a random check, aimed at avoidance of extra obstacles for tourists coming to the peninsula”, – N. Marinov has noted.
