Romanian coast waits for a great number of vacationers during the May holidays

Romanian Government has decided to give the nation two additional days off on May 2 and 3. Such decision has been made at the request of the Romanian Tour Agency Association (ANAT), Sea Coast and Danube Delta Association, and Federation of Romanian Tourism Promotion Associations.

Representatives of these unions have stated that they observe a keen demand for holiday packages, both domestic and international.

At present the coast packages for May holidays have been sold out by на 50%. Tour operators believe that Mamaia will receive 25-30 thousand vacationers during these two days. Prices vary from 40 to 70 lei per person for 3-star hotels. Many hoteliers offer Easter meals, so that their guests could stay longer.
