Urgent security measures for the energy system

Bulgarian Minister of Economy and Energy in the caretaker cabinet Assen Vassilev presented urgent measures in the sphere of energy production. Some contracts of green energy producing companies will be suspended for not complying with the rules of the Bill on Energy.

The State Energy Regulator is envisaged to change the of calculating energy produced by factory energy plants, in order to make sure that only differences between production and consumption are paid for. The Committee should also suggest a technically and economically justified possibility for the export of electricity and change the tax for transfer of electric power. The Committee for Protection of Competitiveness will be demanded to work out an analysis of the sectors of energy production.
