New charter Donetsk - Haikou can make route to Yalta’s Chinese sister city much shorter /PHOTO/

On March 23 -25, 2013 delegation from the Chinese province of Hainan and Sanya, the sister city of Yalta – visited the Crimea after participation in Moscow Tourism Fair and functions, dedicated to opening of the Year of Chinese Tourism in Russia.

During their short visit, the head of delegation, Mr. Zhan Lixun, Director of Sanya Tourism Department and top managers of the Hainan hotel and tourism industry made presentation of the famous hotels and attractions of their province for the representatives of the tourism industry of Yalta, the Crimea and southern Ukraine. Director of Global Travel Trends (Ukraine) and General Representative in Ukraine of International Travel Company Ananda (China), Mr. Anatoly Bondarev informed about preparation of opening a charter flight to connect Donetsk (and through the special connecting flights - the other cities of Ukraine) with Haikou, the capital city of the Hainan province.

After presentation, members of Chinese Delegation answered numerous questions of Ukrainian tourism industry representatives on the new charter flight and Hainan province visa–free regulations. Then there was drawing of prizes of the famous "Monkey Island" reserve, international tour company - Ananda International Travel Service and vouchers for free holidays at the Intime Resort, Narada Resort, Pearl River Garden, Timton International Hotel, top hotels of Hainan Island, which is often called "Eastern Hawaii" due to its tropical climate.

Despite brevity of their visit, the guests from Hainan Province remarked their appreciation of the beauty of Yalta, managed to visit some of its best hotels and attractions. After short visits to Sevastopol and Simferopol, visitors from China flew to Kiev to present the tourist potential of Hainan Province and the city of Sanya on March 27, 2013 at the the Kiev UITT 2013 Travel and Tourism Fair.
