«Resort city» beach in Sochi to be enlarged by three meters

New pebbles are dumped at two beaches of the «Resort city» in the Adler district of Sochi – «Southern 1» and «Southern 2».

According to Sochi-24, the works were commenced last year by the OJSC «Russian Railways» in the framework of strengthening of the coast-protecting structures.

In addition to the protective belt strengthening, the dumping of beaches with new pebbles will allow their preparation for the recreation season.

After the completion of works the territories of beaches will be enlarged by approximately 3 meters towards the sea.
