Krasnodar Krai tops the list of transplantations in Russia

Starting from 2009, the Krai has already made more than 350 operations on organ transplantations, and 118 out of this number were made in 2012. The number of such operations in the Krasnodar Krai exceeds the average Russian result by 3 times.

According to the press service of the regional Ministry of Health, besides the leadership in the number of operations, the Krasnodar Krai is the only Russian region without any queues for heart operations. More than 60 patients have undergone this operation over the time, when such high-tech medical care operations have been started here.

In the first months of 2013 organ transplantations have been already made for more than 30 residents of the Krai, ITAR-TASS Kuban reports.
