After 16 years export of Bulgarian eggs and dairy products resumed
As a result of negotiations between the ministries of agriculture of Bulgaria and Turkey, the export of eggs and dairy products from Bulgaria to Turkey is resumed.
The two countries convened on certificates for the export of eggs, dairy products made of cow, sheep, goat and buffalo milk. The basic requirement is for the products for human consumption to come from countries non-affected by FMD and plague as well as strict hygiene rules according to European standards. Bulgarian dairy products have not been exported to Turkey since 1997 when Turkish veterinary authorities imposed a ban.
