Two Moldovan-Ukrainian border crossing points suspend activity
The Soroca-Tekinovka and the Cosauti-Iampol Moldovan-Ukrainian border crossing points suspended their activity amid the 2-meter-raise in the Dniester River’s water level.
According to the Customs Service’s press centre, Ukrainian counterpart bodies have given the consent to temporarily suspend the crossing points’ activity. Customs authorities warn all the participants in the traffic to cross the border trough other points, which are deployed in the same direction, urging them to cross through the Otaci-Moghiliov-Podolsk customs post.
According to the Customs Service, border authorities have taken all the necessary measures to increase the crossing capacity through the active crossing points in order to avoid the formation of queues. The Customs Service will come back with additional details on the resumption of the Soroca-Tekinovka and the Cosauti-Iampol Moldovan-Ukrainian border crossing points’ activity.
