Azerbaijan expands production of arms

Azerbaijan is going to expand the production of arms. This year the country will launch serial production of rifles and several kinds of ammunition, Azerbaijani Defense Industry Minister Yaver Dzhamalov says.

The arms produced will meet Nato standards, the minister told a meeting of the cabinet attended by the country's president, Ilham Aliyev.
