Bulgaria changes position over European ban on bee-harming pesticides
The interim government of Prime Minister Marin Raikov said that Bulgaria would support the EU ban on bee-harming pesticides.
The announcement was made after the Prime Minister met with protesting beekeepers who said that over half of their bees die due to the pesticides used in agriculture. Previously Bulgaria was among the 5 countries that abstained over the issue. 13 EU Members support the ban and 9 rejected it.
