400th anniversary of the House of Romanov is celebrated in Livadiya and Massandra

On April 23-25, 2013 Livadiya and Massandra host a number of events, timed to celebration of the 400th anniversary of the House of Romanov.

On April 23 the exhibition named «Romanov Dynasty in the Crimean History» was opened at the museum of the Livadiya Palace, the former residence of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II, including the collections of the Crimean museums, and the dramatized show «The Romanovs in persons» was performed, UNN informs.

On April 24-25 the Livadiya Palace, together with the Alupka palace and park museum and reserve, host the International Scientific Conference «The Romanovs and the Crimea».

On April 25 the Massandra palace and museum will host the presentation of the exhibition «The House of Romanov in gravures and lithographs of XVII-XIX centuries».
