150,000 tourists are expected to visit Crimea on May holidays

A rise in the flow of tourists by 25% compared to 2012 is expected in Crimea on May holidays. 169 health centres and 197 hotels are ready to receive holiday makers.

«According to tour operators’ data, this year a lot more trips are bought out, compared to 2012, which was a record year by the number of tourists», - said the AR Crimea Council of Ministers Chairman Mr. Anatoly Mogilev.

He added that the rise in the flow of tourists was due to active promotion of recreation and health rehabilitation on Crimean resorts during the low season.

Since the beginning of the year 255 thousand people have had rest in Crimea - 29% more than in the same period of 2012.
