Traffic jams still wait for the Krasnodar Krai resorts’ guests in 2013

The Krasnodar Krai Ministry of Resorts and Tourism prepares an appeal to the traffic agencies of the region with a request to change in 2014 the schedule for the road surface repairs on the highway along the Cuban resorts.

According to the Minister of Resorts and Tourism Yevgeniy Kudelya, this will help in reduction of traffic jams during the resort season.

“Traffic jams on the highway in summer are an objective problem. Krasnodar roads are among the best in Russia. But the problem is when the summer starts, construction and repairs on the roads are commenced. As a result, half of the line is open, while the other half is closed. We have appealed to the regional traffic with a request to show the schedule of the works planned – and July and August will be used once again. Therefore, the first part of our work to improve this situation is to arrange everything in the way that, starting from the next year, all traffic works will be moved for earlier or later periods. Because this is the main reason for all traffic jams”, – the Minister has noted.
