347 thousand tourists visited the Crimea
As on May 6, more approximately 347 thousand tourists have already visited the Crimea.
According to the Crimean Minister of Resorts and Tourism Alexander Liyev, this number exceeds the similar period of 2012 by 20%. Yalta, Yevpatoria, and Alushta have traditionally got more guests for the May holidays, which are not over yet, than all other cities.
The largest growth in the number of tourists for the May holidays can be observed in the Feodosiya region (specifically in Koktebel) and in Saki.
“The growth of the tourist flow at these resorts reaches 28–30%. Yalta, Alushta, and Sudak have shown the growth of 20–25%, while Yevpatoria has grown by 15%”, – A. Liyev has noted.
