Danube Delta expects more than 17 cruise motor vessels

On May 11-12 two river motor vessels for passengers – Excelent Royal and Princess Sofia – brought approximately 300 tourists to Tulcea, and the majority of them preferred to enjoy launch and boat tours to the Danube Delta.

«Before that we have never had more than ten cruise vessels [a year], but nowadays we already have contracts with 15 other cruise ships for provision of smaller vessels to them for arrangement of cruises to the Danube Delta. This is a good background for tourism this year», – Victor Iancu, Europolis SA Tulcea Manager, has noted.
