Turkey's museum revenues rise in January-May

Museum revenues in Turkey in the first five months of this year amounted to 53.3 million Turkish liras (approx. $ 27.35 million), according to data of the Turkish Ministry of Tourism and Culture.

The figure marked a 27 percent increase over the same period from a year earlier. 

On May 4, museums in Turkey saw the highest number of daily visitors with 113,233.
