Ukrainian Tax Administration blocked tends of millions of hryvnya at WebMoney accounts

On June 12 the Ukrainian Ministry of Revenues and Duties informed that it had managed to block 60 million hryvnya at accounts, affiliated with WebMoney electronic payment company.

While searching the Kyiv office of Web Money the Agency has withdrawn a considerable amount of computer equipment devices, which ensured the payment system operation and contains information on the operations of this system.

In addition to that, it has established that regulations of this payment system’s operations had not agreed upon with the National Bank of Ukraine.

«The list of this system users has included e-stores, information service providers, and physical persons, trying to hide illegal financial transactions», – the statement has noted.
